China & Hong Kong still No. 1, followed by Southeast Asia

CaliforniaThe California team led the way – with 12 new gifts — during the past week of Thunderbird’s second annual Global Giving Competition.

As of June 11, 2012, Thunderbird still needs 886 new gifts to reach the goal of 15 percent alumni participation. We thank everyone who has already made a gift to Thunderbird and we hope that we can count on those who have not yet made a gift. Make your gift today.

Although the China & Hong Kong team did not bring in any new gifts during the past week, they still remain in first place with 26.1 percent participation, followed by the Southeast Asia team in second and the U.K. team in third.  Leading the U.S. is the Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine team.

We’d like to extend a special thank you this week to Washington D.C. Chapter Leader and Thunderbird Alumni Network Board member Jean-Christophe Deverines ’00 for sharing this competition with his members and for supporting Thunderbird.

A large number of teams made new gifts in the past week. We thank you for your commitment to Thunderbird! These teams include:

dragon naturally speaking: voice to text for digital voice recorders. recording is enabled by sliding the silver clip…no visible buttons that would indicate the pen is actually a voice recorder! record quality is a key factor to consider when purchasing a digital voice recorder. http://www.aichelocal.org/
