Twenty-eight teams show their support for Thunderbird

massWith just two weeks remaining, 28 teams brought in new gifts this week, resulting in a number of exciting changes to the leaderboard.

Although the China & Hong Kong team is still in the lead, the Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine team leaped into fourth place during the past week. Neighboring teams California and Arizona remain at a near tie with 11.0 percent and 11.2 percent participation respectively.

As of June 18, 2012, Thunderbird still needs 787 new gifts to reach the goal of 15 percent alumni participation. We thank everyone who has already made a gift to Thunderbird and we hope that we can count on those who have not yet made a gift. Make your gift today.

Remember, there are a number of ways to help, such as re-tweeting contest updates, getting together at First Tuesdays, posting messages to your Facebook page and motivating T-birds in your area to make a gift to Thunderbird.

Thunderbird thanks its chapter leaders for their support in sharing this competition with members. Lets make this another competitive week! Next week, we will post more frequent updates to the leaderboard.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
