When 1977 Thunderbird graduate Marshall Parke decided to participate in Campaign Thunderbird, he made it clear he wanted to do more than just write a check (which he did, in a big way!).  His idea was to recruit other fellow alumni to jointly create a scholarship (now the “Thunderbird Alumni Scholars” program) where successful alumni would pass forward the gift of global leadership. The scholarships would benefit bright students from developing nations with the potential to make a difference back home one day.
