Congress slumbers as U.S. churns out money

Lack of money has not slowed the U.S. war effort in Iraq. When cash runs low, the government simply makes more. This lapse in White House leadership has taken its toll on the U.S. dollar and plunged the country into escalating debt. Congress has power to intervene, but first our lawmakers must wake up and hear the whirring of the printing presses used to churn out fresh bills.
