R&R in Budapest: Land of my ancestors

I finished up my second trimester with six weeks in Prague and moved onto Budapest for a few days of R&R before starting a two-week summer course in Budapest and Ljubljana. The change of scenery is welcome, and I have always wanted to visit Budapest. My great-grandmother and grandmother were from this city, and I am eager to experience this part of my heritage.

Meet student blogger Christen Pechman

PRAGUE — I have just finished my first year of Thunderbird’s traditional MBA program and ended my second trimester on a high note with six weeks in Prague, Czech Republic. I start this blog as I embark on a two-week Summerim program on Entrepreneurship in Developing Economies, which takes me through Budapest, Hungary and Ljubljana, Slovenia. (A Summerim is a three-credit, two-week course at the beginning of the summer, and most of them take place outside the United States).
