Being a consultant can be both extremely rewarding and challenging. Rewarding because you get involved in very interesting and diverse topics that you aim to solve; and challenging, because you work with the purpose of getting your ideas implemented by the client and finding sustainability in what you created with so much effort.
Both, solving a problem and finding sustainability are the two things that we, TEM LAB Peru, are trying to build now: A solid and sustainable solution.
As you have been reading in our previous blogs (right?☺), after 3 weeks ofinterviewing people, brainstorming ideas, researching, and thinking about the best way to approach our current project, we are now in the phase of finalizing the business plan for a new company that will serve as the commercial arm for ANPE.
Now, our big challenge is to assure ways for the sustainability of our project. We have the conviction that the project has a big future. The Gastronomy industry in Peru has grown exponentially, but the agricultural sector has not yet reached the fast growing path of restaurants. This is why there is a big opportunity for investing in this project.
This last week is going to be crucial for us to get the “buy-in” from our stakeholders to take this business plan into action, and to find the key people to direct the course of “Joyas de Nuestra Tierra”, the new brand we are developing.

RECOMPENSAS, DESAFIOS … SOLUCIONES, SOSTENIBILIDAD
Ser consultor es una profesión muy gratificante y desafiante al mismo tiempo. Gratificante, ya que uno puede involucrarse en temas muy interesantes y diversos que tienen como objetivo resolver un problema latente; Desafiante ya que uno trabaja con el propósito de lograr que sus ideas sean implementadas por el cliente, buscando sostenibilidad en lo que uno ha creado con tanto esfuerzo.
Tanto la solución de un problema, como la búsqueda de la sostenibilidad son objetivos que nosotros, TEM Lab Perú, estamos tratando de construir en estas semanas.
En este sentido, tal y como han estado leyendo en nuestros blogs anteriores( verdad? ☺), después de 3 semanas de entrevistar a distintas personas, de haber realizado una profunda investigación y de haber generado ideas acerca de la mejor manera de lograr un riguroso aporte a nuestro proyecto, hoy nos encontramos en la fase de finalización del “Plan de Negocios” para una nueva empresa que servirá como el brazo comercial de ANPE.
Ahora, nuestro gran reto es asegurar formas para la sostenibilidad de nuestro proyecto. Tenemos la convicción de que dicho proyecto tiene un gran futuro, y tal y como Diego Alcántara (Chef Ejecutivo) nos comentaba, el sector gastronomico en el Perú ha crecido de manera exponencial, sin embargo, el sector agrícola no ha alcanzado aún los niveles de desarrollo galopante de los restaurantes peruanos, y es por esto que hay una gran oportunidad para invertir en este proyecto.
Esta última semana va a ser crucial para conseguir el compromiso de las partes interesadas en tornar este Plan de Negocios en acciones concretas, y en lograr el compromiso de los distintos sectores para impulsar esta gran idea que tiene como nombre: “Joyas de Nuestra Tierra”, y que es la nueva marca que estamos desarrollando.
