G'Day! Knowledgenetwork,
Thanks, on a related note, We live in a highly sophisticated world where everything is almost achievable. There would probably have been no changes between the world of today and that of three centuries ago if necessity and serendipitous discoveries had not driven men to achieve great things. Science and technology have had huge positive effects on every society. The world today has gone digital, even human thought. Our world has been reduced to a global village and is better for it.
Keep up the posts!

It must be quite interesting to have visited an eyeglass manufacturer in China. I've always wanted to visit factories such as eyeglass makers. I wonder how the glasses are cut and how the frames are made. It must be nice to watch that process personally.

Reminds me of the day we landed ... 10 very tired women, most of us traveling to the US for the first time - and the first thing we hear is that bin Laden had been killed. It was a very tense time but we were in a safe haven completely unaware of any hostility or hard feelings. All we experienced was warmth, love, kindness, a true effort to understand our lives and challenges, sincerity. After only 2 weeks we left the place calling ourselves TBirds. Love you all so much. :)
